 Located
at the center of the eastern seaboard and the center of North
Carolina, High Point is uniquely positioned to be the catalyst
to build the economic future of the Triad over the next decade.
Although no region in the state has been as severely impacted by
the decline in manufacturing over the past thirty years, the
Chamber is poised to partner with community leaders to build a
dynamic future.
During our nation’s economic downturn,
the High Point Chamber of Commerce has experienced growth and
positively impacted the city and the Triad more than any other
time in the organization’s history. While proud of its unique
heritage, the Chamber is fully focused on the future. The
entrepreneurial spirit of forming strong partnerships and
working together has been the foundation of High Point. It is
the same spirit that the Chamber will continue to embrace to
build the future.
As High Point celebrated its 150th
anniversary in 2009, we were reminded that business and industry
leaders have continually been the architects of vision and
courageously carried the mantel of leadership to build a
progressive future. The Chamber, the City and the region have
been the beneficiaries of these dynamic leaders.
