Leadership: High
Point is a program sponsored by the High Point Chamber of
Commerce to develop effective leaders for the community.
The program is
designed to open the minds of each participant to perspectives
that surround issues facing the High Point community and,
through thoughtful consideration of those perspectives, enable
participants to become more visionary leaders in the community.
Community
leadership skill development and a sense of trusteeship are
integrated throughout the program.
Leadership: High
Point graduates are motivated to apply this newly gained
knowledge by volunteering and serving on elected/appointed
committees. Graduates continue to benefit from their Leadership:
High Point experience by networking with other graduates through
participation in programs of the Leadership: High Point Alumni
Association and various class projects.
