About Our Building
The High Point Chamber of Commerce moved into its 1634 N. Main Street location in September 2006. The building is a donation from community businessman Zaki Khalifa and was renovated for Chamber usage through donations from other community leaders. Our building is a symbol of the strong, diverse and generous High Point community.
Mr. Khalifa donated his building to the High Point Chamber with the creed to use the building as “the place where the dreams of High Point are made.” From this creed, the building is referred to as the Business Vision Center of High Point.
When you walk in the building, you walk into the International Lobby. This lobby honors Mr. Khalifa, investors, and donors from the time of the building’s grand opening on September 14, 2006. The lobby also displays an array of international flags; each flag represents a country which has a business headquartered in High Point.
The building is 23,000 square feet, offering many offices and meeting rooms which are available for rent to members. For availability and pricing, please contact Jewel Welborn or call our office at 336-882-5000.
